Togo, Africa pictures 7

International Women's Day celebration at the hospital station.

Humerus fracture, nonunion. Plating.

Hiking the cliffs south of Dapaong.

This was the hike/adventure attempted up to Dapaong a few weeks ago. Successfully made it there and back again this time around! Interesting view to appreciate the villages scattered along the ridge of the cliffs as well as the villages that bespeckle the valley below.

Appreciate that tree standing tall on the edge of the cliff up there. It comes into play later.

Only missing a little Simba cub

Our weekend adventurers: L to R: Erin Weston, me, Lisa Hale, Jack Weston

We had enough difficulty making it up and down even without heavy loads on our heads.
Amazing what can grown here. Random flower growing out of the rocks. Pretty sure the goats ate the leaves.
Climbing the tree at the top of the cliff.

(for some reason pictures are uploading backwards today; and I've not the bother to manually switch them around. Sorry)
Dapaong markets. buying pagne.

Chronic right hip fracture in an 18 year old female. She was walking on that. Left side is soon to follow. Performed right girdlestone.

With my patient, Roukaya, her mama and her little sister, who I promise was smiling right up until the photo was taken.

Much Love.
