Estamos renovando

All I told Jake was that I wanted the chipped and peeling paint fixed. I promise.

chipped, bubbling and peeling paint on the chimney and ceiling due to a water leak around the chimney

we weren't the first to tackle repairs of the chimney
replacing upper cabinets during same stage as the chimney repair
Stage 2 taking out the cubbies
When the closet suddenly becomes too long for the new hole you just made in the wall.
framing for new cabinets
drywall. Yes someone at some point during the history of the house thought a bright yellow and flowered wallpaper was a good look for this house.. no wonder it was covered up and covered over.
when walls are built crooked, straight angles sometimes have to be made to fit. creativity required.
upper cabinets and lower cabinets in place
Stage 3 tackling the base cabinets including replacing the sink and moving the dishwasher. Removing the old cabinets revealed layers of past kitchen renovations.
Again appreciating the various layers of kitchen decor.
putting together boxes
Final picture. Still a few small things missing and some changes planned. But close enough.
We take demo seriously!

Much Love.
